Agaricus Blazei Murill Mushroom ABM
One of the most sought after mushroom in clinical mushroom
research.
The Agaricus Blazei Mushroom was first discovered in a
small mountain town in Brazil called Piedade, which is located approximately 120
miles south east of Sao Paulo. For centuries the villagers had been consuming
the mushroom called Cogumelo De Deus (translated the mushroom of the gods). In
1960, a Japanese researcher named Takatoshi Furumoto discovered it and sent it
to Japan in 1965 for study.
Dr. Cinden and his colleagues had come to Piedade to find
out why the native people there had such low instances of geriatric diseases and
also had an increased rate of longevity. Dr. Cinden concluded that the people of
this region’s longevity was due to consumption of the Agaricus Blazei
Mushroom.(1.)
