NRx Picamilon - 100 mg 60 Caps

Picamilon was developed in Russia in the 1970's to promote mental focus and relaxation. Derived from GABA and a vitamin B3 analog, it was found to be an effective carrier for GABA.

Picamilon is able to cross the blood-brain barrier where it splits into GABA and niacin. The GABA then stimulates GABA receptors producing a calming effect. GABA is the main inhibiting neurotransmitter that regulates neuronal excitability. The niacin causes vasodilation, or a widening of the blood vessels, which can lead to the relief of headaches and lower the blood pressure. Picamilon is useful for mitigating the negative effects of stress, providing a feeling of tranquilization without the feeling of sedation that can come from other drugs.

Picamilon's effects can be felt quickly and last for up to six hours. Consistent use can show a noticeable improvement in concentration and an increase in energy and endurance.
