known as Beta 1,3/1,6 Glucan. The "1,3/1,6" refers to an exact
molecular linkage in a one-three, one-six pattern. Several materials in
nature contain glucans, such as certain mushrooms and oats, but only
Baker's yeast contains the 1,3/1,6 linkage. The two primary uses
of beta-glucan are to enhance the immune system and to lower blood
cholesterol levels.
NRx Beta Glucan 90% is meticulously extracted from the
cell walls of bakers yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), is considered one
of the most effective raw material sources for the 1,3 1,6 linkage. Due
to the high purity level a minimum protein content is present. NRx Beta
