L-Methionine is an essential sulfur-containing, essential amino acid that is converted in the body to S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe), which is neccessary for normal brain function, and L-cystine, which is a component of glutathione, an important antioxidant mollecule in the body.  Methionine is anlso a transporter of the antioxidant mineral, selenium.

Serving Size: 1/2 Teaspoon (approx. 1.5 g)

Suggested Use: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon daily between meals, or as recommended by your health care professional.  If you experience stomach irritation, take with meals.
